Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specializing in automotive financial and credit services, is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant / AP Clerk to join its accounting team. This position will be responsible for supporting accounting and billing operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, cash application transactions, and accounting records. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices within the accounting system.
- Review invoices for proper approval, coding, sorting, and matching.
- Research and reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies related to variances, credits, or payments.
- Support accounts payable processes and follow established AP best practices.
- Communicate with Account Executives, Account Managers, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Review and approve expense reports using expense management software.
- Provide clerical and administrative accounting support as needed.
- Assist the accounting team with inquiries and discrepancies.
- Document and update customer information in proprietary CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.

Qualifications
Must-Have:
- At least 2 years of experience using strong computer skills and/or previous accounting experience performing similar responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with U.S. clients.
- Business-level English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have:
- Previous experience with accounts payable, billing, invoice processing, or similar accounting functions.
- Experience researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Familiarity with accounting systems, expense management software, and CRM platforms.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn accounting department processes and best practices.
