Descripción de la Plaza

• Supervise assigned Design Services team members.
• Assign Design Services team members to support product development project teams.
• Review and assign approved engineering changes and work orders to Design Services team and ensure proper forms, documentation and engineering specifications are provided and followed to support successful release to production.
• Support implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of engineering software applications.
• Support maintenance of database of approved engineering changes including supporting rational for change, status and dates for implementation.
• Provide guidance to Design Services team in the preparation of production drawings and application of engineering specifications to assist in developing and implementing engineering changes.
• Provide guidance to Design Services team on design of components of a major functional system, aligned with manufacturability, cost and performance targets of a given project
• Manage and facilitate the communication process among the various departments and plants to ensure engineering changes are implemented with accurate BOM and Oracle attributes.
• Support maintenance and development of ISO procedures related to the Engineering Change and Document Control functions.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to the Design Services team members.
• Supervise the activities of personnel and coordinate with other affected groups regarding accuracy of engineering changes, plant substitutions, and material substitutions, etc.
• Interpret instructions and company policies to subordinates. Assume responsibilities for maintenance of standard of performance and training of new personnel, maintenance and improvements of costs, and control of quality and quantity of work of employees.
• Support training for Engineering personnel on CAD software, PLM Software and Change Management processes.
• Periodically review exempt employees and recommend for approval merit and/or promotional increases.
• Must attend work regularly
• Knowledge: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college. Mechanical, Mechanical-Electrical, Mechatronics Engineer
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields of engineering design or research development. 1 – 3 years of supervisor or team leader experience. No Travel Restrictions.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in one of the following or related fields along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments:
o Laboratory testing of HVAC, Water Heaters or other appliances
o Engineering design or applied research of HVAC, Water Heaters or other appliances
o Model making of HVAC, Water Heaters or other appliances
• Skills & aptitudes: Working knowledge of one of the following:
o Laboratory testing to meet certification agency test standards
o Model making including working knowledge machine shop and sheet metal fabrication equipment
